I'm Farrah Jane - a Midwest-born-and-bred author of smart & steamy small town romance, filled with swoon-worthy, complex heroes and the sassy, relatable heroines who capture their hearts—while feeling like your new best friend.

After migrating from small town life to the outskirts of the Twin Cities, Minnesota, I worked in corporate events for

far too many years before I decided to pay attention to that little voice that had been in my heart for DECADES -

you know, the one that tells you to "just go for it, already"?

Well, I finally listened, leaving my corporate life behind to get serious about sharing my words & stories with the world.

And I cannot imagine living my life any other way. Following your dreams will do that to a person.

But, listen - I'm not especially cool or super-special . . . just a normal, quirky & fabulously flawed woman. (Aren't we all?)

I'm blessed with an amazing & supportive family: my husband, son, daughter & two rescue pups,

who love me even in my craziest moments (including my 12-hour writing days!)

And I totally own being a nerdy, introverted homebody (who still loves most people, despite all their flaws).

When I'm not writing or reading ALL the books (especially romance!), you’ll find me whipping up yet another pan of killer brownies, traveling (yes, even introverts love to explore!), movie marathon-ing, taking photos, listening to juicy podcasts,

relaxing in nature, & spending time with my favorite people.

Fun fact? I'll rarely turn down cookies, tacos or pizza (especially if accompanied by an Old Fashioned, or a good glass of Malbec).

And at the end of the day, I'm not into "perfect & shiny"--

The stories I write are all about relatable (and sometimes angsty or humorous) "real" people,

all who have real problems and quirks. Because really, isn't that what life is all about?

My deepest hope is that you will see a little of yourself in some of these stories & characters I have grown to love.
